As a Holistic Nutritionist with more than 6 years of experience working as a Private Chef, Rachelle is the founder of Beyond Nourished, passionate about connecting with people and teaching them to have a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. She has helped many women overcome their struggles with restrictive diets and disordered eating, having been through similar challenges in her life. She knows that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so she uniquely designs recipes, meal plans and coaching programs to meet the needs of each client. This personalized approach that she uses with each client has extended into a multi day experiential retreat that she facilitates 3 times a year and that focuses on the spiritual, physical and emotional aspects of weight loss and healthy living.
When she’s not in the kitchen whipping up healthy meals for her clients, you can find her teaching at The Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she is a faculty member, outdoors on a hike, practicing yoga or playing baseball. This self-proclaimed spiritual junkie and uptight free spirit knows that creating conscious relationships and fostering community is key to an all around healthy life. This connection to people and community is what truly supports making healthy life changes.
For the last few years, Rachelle has been working on building busy people's confidence in the kitchen. She believes that so much of our day-to-day confidence starts with our relationship to food and how we choose to nourish ourselves. She's witnessed her life positively transform as she embraced the path of health, and has dedicated the past 10 years to studying all different facets; everything from yoga and meditation to nutrition and the psychology of eating.
Rachelle has combined her education as a Holistic Nutritionist along with her passion for cooking into a successful career. She's travelled the globe for the last 6 years working as a Private Chef and Holistic Food Educator along with building Beyond Nourished.
How she foresees helping you (and coincidentally, what she's most passionate about) is how to make healthy meal preparation easy and delicious. This is simply her genius. A common misconception is that you have to compromise taste when making food healthy. Stick with her, and she promises you’ll be shocked with how good healthy can taste!
As an educator, her goal is to impact as many people as possible - but she needs your help. We need to start to pass down recipes that not only taste good, but are positively impacting the health of our bodies and minds while reducing our impact on the planet. She hopes that you follow her along this journey so that you too can become passionate about passing down healthy heirlooms and reestablishing our connection to having confidence in the kitchen.
