YOU HAVE QUESTIONS
&
I HAVE ANSWERS
-
It's essentially the business group I wish I'd had while building my own business.
It's not a course and I'm not positioning myself as everyone's business coach. It's a facilitated peer group where business owners in our industry can talk openly about what's working, what's not, brainstorm problems, share wins, ask questions and learn from each other's experiences.
I'll facilitate the calls and bring what I've learned from almost 15 years of building my own business, but everyone in the room has something valuable to contribute.
-
Don't get too caught up on the word founder!
I'm using it pretty loosely to describe people who have built something of their own in the food, nutrition or wellness space.
You might own a personal chef or meal prep company, have a brick and mortar business, create content online, run workshops or courses, have a product based business, or have built a brand in a completely different way.
You don't need employees, a storefront or a certain amount of revenue to call yourself a founder here. If you've built something, you're actively growing it, and you have both experience to share and things you'd love support with, you're who I'm talking about.
-
A mix! And that's intentional.
Some people are solo business owners, while others have teams and employees. Some are still very involved in the day to day and others have stepped away from operations. Businesses will also be at different revenue levels and stages of growth.
Membership is by invitation or application.
You should currently be building or running a business within the food, nutrition or wellness space. That could be service based, product based, brick and mortar or completely online.
You don't need a certain number of employees, followers or revenue to qualify. I'm much more interested in whether you're actively building something, have experience to contribute and are willing to participate openly.
I'm looking for people who have something to GIVE to the room as well as something they want help with.

Come to the first call and see how it feels.
If you realize after that first meeting that this isn't the right group for you, just let me know and I'll refund your payment. No awkwardness.
I want everyone who stays to really want to be there.
-
Yes. The founding rate is $600 upfront or $120/month for six months.
I've intentionally kept the cost accessible. I've spent thousands on coaching and masterminds myself and part of the reason I created this was to offer the kind of support I've found most valuable without another multi thousand dollar price tag.
-
Yes. I'm asking everyone to commit to the first six months.
It takes time to get to know each other's businesses and build enough trust to have really honest conversations. I don't want this to feel like a networking group where different people pop in and out every month.
After the first six months, we'll decide together what comes next.
-
If you need to miss a month, that's totally okay. While I hope everyone can make most of the calls, I know that's not always realistic. Because I want people to feel comfortable sharing openly, calls may not always be recorded.
-
The Founders Roundtable will have a maximum of 20 members.
I'm keeping it intentionally small enough that we can actually get to know each other, understand each other's businesses and have meaningful conversations.
If we get more interest than 20, I will open up a second call a month. Members in the original group will be welcome to join for a small additional membership fee.
-
We'll meet virtually once a month for 90 minutes.
The original plan was the last Friday of each month at 10 AM Pacific, but the meeting time hasn't been finalized yet. Once the founding members are confirmed, I'll send out a poll and we'll choose a time that works best for the majority of the group.
We'll start with a six months. The intention is absolutely to continue beyond that, but because this is the first group, I want to leave room to make adjustments based on everyone's feedback and what we find most valuable.
-
Don't let the proposed time stop you from applying or saying yes.
Once I know who's actually in the group, we'll poll everyone before confirming our regular meeting time.
With people joining from across North America, we probably won't find a time that's absolutely perfect for everyone, but I'll do my best to find one that works for the majority.
-
Calls will be approximately 90 minutes and I'll facilitate each one so there is some structure without making them overly formal.
We'll typically start with quick wins and updates, move into a topic or discussion, and then spend a good portion of the call workshopping real situations people are dealing with.
There will also be opportunities for hot seats, where one or two members can bring a specific challenge, decision or idea to the group and get everyone's perspective.
The format will evolve as I learn what is most valuable to the group. This is the founding round, so I want us to build some of it together.
-
Membership is by invitation or application.
I’m personally inviting many of the founding members, but I also know there are incredible business owners outside of my immediate network who would bring a lot to this group.
If you haven’t received a personal invitation, you’re welcome to apply. I’m intentionally keeping the group small and considering experience, business model, location and overall fit when putting the group together.
Applying doesn’t guarantee a spot. My priority is creating a room where everyone has something to contribute and something to gain.
-
Yes. This is really important to me. We're going to be talking about real businesses, which may include revenue, employees, clients, pricing and challenges we wouldn't necessarily share publicly.
What's shared within the group stays within the group. I want everyone to feel safe being honest without worrying about their business being discussed outside the room.
-
Yes! We'll have a private group where we can keep conversations going, ask quick questions, celebrate wins and lean on each other between calls. My hope is that this becomes just as valuable as the monthly meetings - if not more.
